The installation is intended for high-quality polishing and for attaching high decorative and special properties to the surface of parts made of different metals. The installation can be used both for final polishing of the surface and surface preparation of a part to the subsequent deposition of vacuum and galvanic coatings.

The method has the following advantages:
• high quality of a polished surface that exceeds the quality obtained by the usual mechanical polishing method;
• high productivity of the process in comparison with mechanical polishing;
• absence of mechanical inclusions in a material of polished parts that are typical of the method of mechanical polishing with abrasive materials using.

In contrast to the method of electrochemical polishing the process of electroplasma polishing takes place in an electrolyte vapour- gaseous medium forming in a treated surface area.

The field of application:
• polishing of parts made of stainless steel (dentures, table-ware, bracelets etc. ) before vacuum deposition of decorative coatings;
• polishing of brass parts for consumer goods and machine-building production before vacuum or galvanic deposition of protective coatings;
• polishing of parts made of construction steels for machine-building production before vacuum or galvanic deposition of coatings.
